“La percezione di un Paese avviene attraverso una serie di elementi costitutivi del territorio che impressionano per la loro evidenza, bellezza, grandiosità, singolarità, o perché magari si ripetono, come leitmotiv caratteristici e inconfondibili. Questi elementi visivi, rilevabili nel paesaggio (fiumi, ville, piazze, castelli, santuari …), parte integrante della storia e della cultura degli abitanti, possono essere chiamati con il termine di iconemi.”

In questa breve ricerca per immagini, svolta nel corso di un soggiorno nella cittadina di Lucerna, ho cercato di restituire proprio quegli elementi (icomeni) del territorio svizzero, che si ripetono e la rendono “caratteristica ed inconfondibile”. Stereotipi di una terra che seppur interessata dal fenomeno migratorio da molti anni, sembra aver mantenuto una identità territoriale e culturale ben definita: ordine, pulizia, salvaguardia del territorio, rispetto delle regole. Insomma una terra che tende alla perfezione.

In this brief search for images, carried out during a stay in the town of Lucerne, I tried to give back to those elements (icomeni) of the Swiss territory, which are repeated and make it "characteristic and unmistakable". Stereotypes of a land that although affected by the phenomenon of migration for many years, seems to have maintained a well-defined territorial and cultural identity: order, cleanliness, preservation of the territory, respect for the rules. In short, a land that tends to perfection.
